Presence
Being present is about slowing down and tuning in to yourself and the world around you. It helps children notice their thoughts, feelings, bodies and senses in the present moment.
As children develop presence, they strengthen self-awareness, emotional wellbeing and self-regulation. They learn to recognise their inner experiences and respond with greater calm, confidence and intention.
Being present lays the foundation for learning, relationships and wellbeing by helping children feel grounded, connected and ready to engage with the people and experiences around them.
