A Traditional Story

Presented as a Kind-e-play Felt Story

Join the Three Little Pigs as they build their homes, solve problems and work together when the Big Bad Wolf comes knocking. Through storytelling, movement and imagination, children are encouraged to think, wonder and discover that thoughtful choices help us overcome challenges.

Kirrily Koala encourages us to Be Present and Have an Awareness, noticing how each little pig is feeling, recognising the different materials they choose and observing the clues that help the story unfold.

Elky Elephant helps us Be Ready and Engage, exploring how planning ahead, trying our best and learning from experiences can help us solve problems and make thoughtful decisions.

Pikkle Panda reminds us to Be Mindful and Thoughtful, encouraging children to work together, care for one another and discover that kindness, cooperation and perseverance help us through difficult moments.

Through this much-loved traditional tale, children discover that careful thinking, resilience and helping one another build confidence, strengthen friendships and create positive outcomes, just like the Kind-e-play Friends.

Extend the Learning...

Create a Build It Challenge using blocks, recycled materials, craft sticks, straw, leaves or loose parts.

Invite children to work together to design and build houses for the three little pigs, exploring which materials feel strong, light, flexible or sturdy.

Extend the experience by using a fan, hairdryer on a cool setting or simply blowing with your breath to test each construction, encouraging children to redesign, problem-solve and improve their creations together.
