Extend the Learning...

Create an I Spy Discovery Walk by hiding toy animals, natural treasures or colourful objects around the indoor or outdoor environment.

Invite children to use simple clues such as colours, shapes or textures to find each hidden treasure before taking turns to describe what they have discovered.

Extend the experience by encouraging children to become the leader, creating their own "I Spy" clues for their friends to solve using careful observation and thoughtful listening.
