Big Red Bath

One by one, children, animals and toys climb into the Big Red Bath, splashing, squeezing and making room for everyone. With playful rhymes and colourful illustrations, this delightful story celebrates friendship, imagination and the joy of being together.
Kirrily Koala reminds us to Be Present and Aware, noticing who is joining the bath, the colourful illustrations and the caring ways everyone makes space for one another.
Elky Elephant splashes in with excitement, encouraging us to Be Ready and Engage, following the playful sequence of the story, joining in the repeated rhymes and exploring the many animals and objects that appear along the way.
Pikkle Panda smiles as everyone shares the bath together, helping us Be Mindful and Thoughtful, taking turns, using gentle hands and making sure everyone feels welcome, included and safe during play.
Through this playful bath-time adventure, children discover that kindness, cooperation and thoughtful choices help everyone belong, creating joyful moments of connection—just like the Kind-e-play Friends.
Extend the Learning...
Create a Big Red Bath Pretend Play Space using a large blue sheet, hoops or a pretend bath where children can imagine climbing in together.
Invite children to collect soft toys, animal figures or classroom resources, encouraging them to decide how everyone can fit into the bath safely while making room for each new friend.
Extend the experience by sequencing the story, inviting children to remember who joined the bath first, next and last, while repeating the rhythmic language together.
